Terms of Service

Internal BackOffice Application

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the BackOffice v2.0 application (the “Application”) provided by The Waffle Concept Company BV, Breidelstraat 16, 8000 Bruges, Belgium.
This Application is intended solely for internal business use by authorized personnel.

By accessing or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. Purpose and Scope

The Application is designed to support internal business operations, including but not limited to administration, reporting, finance, operations, and internal workflows.

The Application:

  • Is not a consumer product

  • Is not intended for external users

  • May change, break, or disappear without ceremony

2. Authorized Users

Access is limited to:

  • Employees

  • Contractors

  • Authorized partners
    explicitly approved by the Company (“Authorized Users”).

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential

  • All activity performed under your account

Sharing accounts is prohibited. Yes, even “just for a minute”.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Application:

  • Only for legitimate business purposes

  • In compliance with applicable laws and internal policies

  • In a way that does not compromise security, performance, or data integrity

You must not:

  • Circumvent security controls

  • Access data you are not authorized to access

  • Introduce malware, scripts, or automation without approval

  • Use the Application for personal, illegal, or competitive purposes

If you’re wondering “is this a good idea?” — it probably isn’t.

4. Data and Confidentiality

All data within the Application is:

  • Confidential

  • Owned by the Company (or its clients/partners, where applicable)

You agree to:

  • Treat all data as confidential information

  • Not disclose, export, or misuse data without authorization

  • Follow applicable data protection and privacy rules

Your access may be logged. This is normal. This is not paranoia.

5. Availability and Changes

The Application is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We may:

  • Modify features

  • Restrict access

  • Perform maintenance

  • Discontinue the Application entirely

No guarantees of uptime, stability, or backward compatibility are made.
This is internal software — agility beats perfection.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Application, including code, design, and documentation, remain with the Company.

You receive no ownership rights, only a limited right to use the Application as described in these Terms.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage

  • Audit access logs

  • Suspend or revoke access at any time

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate loss of access

  • Disciplinary action

  • Legal action if warranted

We prefer trust. We also prefer consequences.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • The Company is not responsible for decisions made based on data from the Application

Always sanity-check critical outputs. Computers are fast, not wise.

9. Termination

Your right to use the Application ends when:

  • Your role no longer requires access

  • Your contract or employment ends

  • Access is revoked for any reason

Upon termination, you must stop using the Application immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bruges, Belgium, without regard to conflict of law principles.
