"On February 14th, a large group of us went to Wafels Chez Albert on the Meir in Antwerp, and what a wonderful experience it was! It was very busy, and it was already after 6:30 PM, so almost closing time. Nevertheless, we received incredibly prompt and professional service. A special thanks to the lovely young lady who helped us: she was not only super friendly, but also very attentive and efficient. Despite the crowd and the late hour, she remained friendly and patient. With a large group, it's not always easy, but nothing was too much trouble for her. Everything went smoothly and with a smile. The waffles themselves were delicious: freshly baked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—definitely not reheated waffles. You can really taste the difference. The toppings were also delicious and generously applied. Everything was fresh and flavorful, which made it perfect. Definitely recommended if you're on the Meir and craving a real, fresh Belgian waffle! We'll definitely be back."
